Dedicated to my Father

Carrying me on your shoulders, you walked in streets for a long time searching for tiny shoes that suits me.

You always dropped me at school riding your bicycle everyday.
Day after day.... and you treated everyday as a new day.

You did the routine work of dropping me , picking me up from school as one of the best thing that you did in your life. You continued doing it for many years without any hesitation.

You never scolded me and you never beat me for scoring low in school and always signed with a smile in the progress report cards where there is not progress at all.

You were there for all parent's day, teacher's day and Annual day celebrations at my school. Even though I did not participate in any events, you still encouraged me for being an audience.

You got angry at yourself, You got angry regarding your financial status when I wished for something that you cannot afford...something that you cannot buy for me.

You are the one who trained me to ride a bicycle, and you are the one to buy me my first bicycle.

You are the one who traveled with me almost every school and universities for my education.

You are the one who spoke to many strange people recommending me for getting an admission.

You never taught me many things in life, but you showed me the way where I can learn many things about life.

You were not able to be with me when I was feeling bad, but when you were there you always made me feel good.

You had always given me the comfort that I needed.
You always took care of me more than you cared for yourself.
You always gave me the best that you can.
You always ensured my happiness.
You cried... when I suffered pain.

All the things we have and hold for us in our life is all borrowed and we need to give it back.

When it was time for me to comfort you and to take good care of you......
You ignored and chose something that's irrevocable.

Even though I had survived for so many years in this world, I still feel like a chicken hatched out of an egg and this world seems to be very new to me in your absence.

Even though we are strong enough and faced many challenges in our life, our heart and mind become as light as a feather when we realize the absence of our beloved ones.

For most of the Kids, father must be the first hero or role model.

A father may not be a perfect father, but a father will always have a perfect love.

Miss you !

Dignity, Dis Interest or Delhi ?

By the time you read the article title most of you would had understood about what am going to write in this post.

Yes, it is regarding the Delhi gang rape.

I apologize for writing an article which is based on an individual.

This article is only focused on Us (We, the People who create our Society and Blame it ourselves)

When I see the news flash on Television and Websites, it's only the updates regarding the Delhi Gang Rape. This incident is everywhere!

I really appreciate the effort taken by media, online and social networking sites and our people to protest, project, publish and popularize this incident in order to get justice to the victim.

But by going through all the news and updates I was really confused.
I started thinking....
About what are we really worried ?
About what media is worried?
About what social networking sites are worried?

Is this about all about Dignity?
Is this about all about Dis Interest?
Is this about all about Delhi?

If this issue is all about dignity and we are all worried and fighting for dignity of Indian women..
Then we need to consider dignity of Indian women in all the aspects.
There are many girls who lose their dignity in the name of marriage. There are couples applying for divorce just after 3 days of married life. If we are really worried about dignity then how can we get compromised in a divorce situation. The punishment should be the same for the guy who divorce their wife immediately after having sex for three days.

If this issue is all about disinterest towards the act of sex... Then we need to think about the girls who have sex with their boy friends, lovers and post party friends.

We really do not have the count on number of girls who had been utilized and betrayed by their so called Lovers,Boy Friends, Party Friends and more men whom they trust.
If this issue is all about disinterest shown by the girl to have sex, then we also need to think about the girls who are raped by men every day and night with their permission in the name of Love,Party and Life Style. The punishment should be the same for the men who betray and break the trust of a girl.

If this issue is all about the happening in Delhi, then we need to consider the women getting raped every day in all the other cities too.

We people, Social networking and Media needs to be clear about their objective and focus on
What we are discussing.
What for we are discussing
Why are WE discussing and What would be the result of our discussion.

Impact should not only be on an Individual, it should be on our Nation.
Injustice towards women is happening across our nation in many cities in various ways and in terms of various names of crimes. Many girls lose their life everyday and these incidents are happening with nobody to question, protest, project, popularize and Publish.

It will be really great and we should be Thankful to Media...
If Media (being such a powerful medium) would focus on Results rather than their Ratings.

Theme song for Indian Cricket Team

In the season of cricket world cup, we come up with most amazing songs for motivating our Indian cricket team. But I could see a problem here. The aim of our songs does not reach our team players appropriately and they interpret in other way.

Earlier, we were singing "Come On India ! Come on !" , i believe players thought that we are missing them, so they came back home very soon.

Now we are singing "Go India ! Go !", am not sure where the players will be traveling , if they are not coming back to our homeland.

So I believe theme songs should be even more clear...
Like "Win India ! Win !" or "World Cup Jeetho India ! Jeetho !", something like this, which will be easy for our players to understand what we are trying to convey.

I believe it's going to be really difficult for our Indian players, not in playing the game, but in understanding the theme songs for World Cup

Felt bad about our Republic Day

So many messages that makes INDIA great..
So many emails to feel proud about INDIA...
So many video uploads to realize the greatness of our INDIAN soldiers...
So many forums/threads to discuss about INDIA and to wish REPUBLIC/INDEPENDENCE day..

But why do we do all this only on these two days in a year. Aren't we INDIANS the rest of the days in the year.

The respect and the love about our nation should be within each and every individual.
It is really good to share our feelings towards our nation, but we usually get back to our normal life the next day and we don't even worry about our nation thereafter.

Republic Day or Independence day should not be a day when we remember all the great souls who gave life for our nation. The souls of freedom fighters and the great souls of our INDIAN soldiers are not that cheap that we think about them only on these two days in a year.

For most of us who stay away from their home town is just another holiday when we can plan to travel to our native.

Do not always think about our country, start doing something for our country. Then we will feel proud about our country and we can feel proud to be INDIAN.

Nothing is too late, even now we can start..

Being INDIAN - "I Never Delay In ActioN. What about you ?

Jai Hind !

Adding Context

I've tried to add the contextual meaning for most of the two liners in my blog.
Not sure how bad it is...
