Unholiness

This is for the devotees of lord "Palani Murugan" and for the visitors of Palani. We strongly believe that we get a peace of mind if we go to a temple.

Loads of Ingredients are required to prepare prasadham at Palani, including the famous "Palani Panchamirdham" on a daily basis. And unusually these ingredients are carried by donkeys.These poor animals are carrying all the items such as Oil, Ghee, etc., for making pongal,and other prasadhams.

These animals are been tortured by us [human beings]. They are carrying the load from the bottom to top through stairs.These animals are not allowed to take rest even for a while. With lot of facilities at Palani like Winch Train or the Rope car which can easily carry heavy loads, we [human beings] are hurting these poor animals.

All these [humanly] act is carried out focusing only on minimizing cost and to maximize the profit. Donkeys do not ask money for carrying load, but we [Humans] do.
So next time when you go to palani, please think about this before you spent hundreds for "Prasadham".

You can spend the money for something which would help the animals.
I believe being human beings [not being Lord Murugan] we can try to do this.
And I could not see anything holy or spiritual in this place.
